Privacy & Cookies

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Summary

On this site, visit measurement (Google Analytics 4) runs only if you allow it; that is why your choice is asked on your first visit. If you do not allow it, the measurement code is not loaded, no measurement cookie is written and no measurement request is sent to Google Analytics. There is no advertising, remarketing or profiling tag; no live embedded sites are used — the showcase is a list of links only. The server's technical logs (below) are always kept. You can change your choice at any time via the privacy choices button at the bottom of the page.

Data controller

The data controller for this website is Şenol Vatansever. You may send requests under the Turkish Data Protection Law (KVKK) to info@senolvatansever.com.

Cookies and similar technologies

With your permission, first-party measurement cookies are used for Google Analytics 4: _ga and _ga_Y1J2ED9KMZ (lifetime 90 days — not a legal limit but our voluntary data-minimisation choice; the period is not extended on each visit). If you do not allow it, these cookies are not written and no measurement request is sent to Google Analytics; the default state is declined. Ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled in code; measurement data is not anonymous but pseudonymous. In addition to page views, first visit and session start, engagement time, reaching about 90% of the page and outbound-link clicks are also counted.

Your choice is stored in this browser for 12 months in a local record that is not a cookie, together with your decision, its date, its expiry date and the consent-scope version (technical record name: sv-riza). Wording, design or explanation updates do not reset your choice; you are asked again only if the measurement purpose, data categories, provider, recipients or measurement features used expand materially. The quote history is kept only in session storage and is deleted when the tab closes. There is no advertising, remarketing or user-profiling tag.

Server access and security logs

When the site is accessed, standard technical information such as IP address, access time, requested page, browser or device information and server response code may be processed on the hosting infrastructure to serve the website and keep it secure. These logs are not used for advertising or marketing, no behavioural user profile is built, and the site owner does not feed them into a separate visit-measurement system. No additional aggregated visit counting is performed on the server logs; if it ever is, a written legitimate-interest balancing test will be prepared first and this text updated.

Stated plainly, not yet verified: the hosting provider's full legal name, the actual retention period of the server logs and the country or countries where they are processed have not yet been verified by us. Until these three facts are verified this section is not considered complete; uncertain information is not written here by guesswork — it will be added once verified.

The hosting provider's script

The hosting server could append its own performance/tracking script (img1.wsimg.com/traffic-assets/js/tccl.min.js) to the HTML pages it serves and write the _tccl_visitor, _tccl_visit and _scc_session cookies without asking the visitor. This addition is not part of the site package; it happens server-side. This tracking was switched off in the provider account on 26 August 2026 and verified live on 30 August 2026: checks on the www and non-www addresses, several language pages and the 404 page showed neither the script injection nor any Set-Cookie header for these cookies. If the provider ever changes this behaviour, this section will be updated. This is why we do not make the absolute claim "no cookie is ever written" — the accurate statement is: unless you give permission, the site package writes no cookie.

Digital ecosystem links

The digital ecosystem cards on the homepage are static links only. No request is sent to the linked site unless you click. When a link opens, you leave this website; the opened site's data processing, cookie and privacy practices are governed by its own published texts.

Purposes of processing

Visit measurement (only with permission): understanding which content is of interest and improving the site — legal basis: explicit consent (art. 5/1). Technical access and security logs: operating the site; information and system security; detecting faults and outages; preventing unauthorised access and abuse; legal obligations where necessary. If legitimate interest is to be relied on for server logs, a concrete balancing test will be prepared first — that test has not yet been prepared.

Transfers of personal data

If you allow measurement, your visit data is transferred to Google and may be processed outside Türkiye on Google's infrastructure (KVKK art. 9). The legal basis for this transfer is your explicit consent. Stated plainly: this transfer is regular in nature and the Law additionally requires an appropriate safeguard for regular transfers (for example the Board's standard contract); no such contract has been concluded with Google. The site owner has chosen to run measurement on the basis of explicit consent while this gap persists. This text therefore does not claim full legal compliance. If you do not allow it, no transfer takes place. Verification of the recipient, role, country and mechanism for the hosting provider and sub-processors handling the server access logs is ongoing.

Retention periods

Your rights under the KVKK

Under art. 11 of Law No. 6698 you may: learn whether your personal data are processed; request information if so; learn the purpose and whether data are used in line with it; know the third parties they are transferred to; request rectification of incomplete or incorrect data; request erasure or destruction where the legal conditions are met; request that rectification and erasure be notified to recipients; object to a result arising against you exclusively from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage.

You can withdraw your measurement permission at any time, without giving a reason, via the privacy choices button at the bottom of the page; upon withdrawal the measurement cookies are deleted and no new measurement request is sent to Google Analytics.

Send requests to info@senolvatansever.com; they are answered within 30 days at the latest. If refused, answered inadequately or late, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr).

How do the privacy choices work?

On your first visit three equal options are offered: Allow measurement · Continue without measurement · Review settings. The default state is declined; no measurement request is sent to Google Analytics before you allow it. In the settings panel the measurement category is not pre-ticked. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice cannot be verifiably recorded, so measurement is never started. You are asked again after 12 months or if the measurement scope expands materially.

Measurement ID: G-Y1J2ED9KMZ · Consent-scope version: analytics-scope-01 — stored with your choice; you are asked again only if the measurement scope changes materially. Text corrections do not reset your consent.
